TODAY

there have been massive firings due to creative tensions since my last post.  the band has been reduced to myself, Finn Strayley, and Kevin Klein Jones.  Friend them on facebook now, and me too if you have not done so yet.  i have pared the 30 guitar band down two three vocalists.  DO NOT WORRY: WE WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY THE SAME SONGS IN ALMOST THE SAME WAY AS BEFORE.

i have chosen them because they are arguably the worst musicians from the previous incarnation of the group.  i think they have the potential to be molded into a new entity.  since acapella is, objectively, the worst kind of music imaginable I am trying my hand at it.  soon i will master the form with the help of my two former guitarists.  Finn Strayley was a piano virtuoso that i met in munich one summer evening.  I did not like his music.  this last summer i saw his name in the news paper after he had a mental breakdown vowing to never play piano again.  he has the voice of a young opera singer.  it inspires me.

Kevin Klein Jones’s parents paid me a large sum of money up front when i informed him of his termination.  I allowed him to stay, it had nothing to do with the money.

FUTURE PLANS: on friday the 27th of February we have scheduled our siege on the popular band the cold war kids.  they are not a big enough band to cause a ‘stir’ in the music industry.

also: we will soon be coming to your liberal arts college/state university/arts conservatory in order to get funding from you student government.  start wht vwls colonial enterprizes at your institution and add your name to history.

congratulations, you’re getting something that no one else can give you, i.e. the future of how you look at and appreciate art.
