this is im pretty sure the first issue of love and rockets written by jaime hernandez, and is the first of the Maggie the Mechanic stuff.  I got turned on to this comic by Andrew Osborne who was an english teacher i had.  he said it and radiohead made him marry his wife and have kids with her.  lesbian mechanics make for good comic books from the 80s.  the cover is as sweet as early action comics covers were, because the subsequent 600000000 superman comics have almost all had attrocious covers.  kids want that i guess.  gotta know whats in it before i read it.  got to know who superman is fighting.
