shaved
I find this both fucked up and erotic
i find the nipples to be more fucked up than erotic
the chewbacca eyes are very “alluring”

it kind of reminds me of the Chuck Mee play “Trojan Women 2.0”

I’m a big fan of Magritte, of any surrealism really. Buñuel, The Discreet Charm of the Bourgoisie. David Lynch. I still remember the big impression the dream sequence in the third episode of Twin Peaks made on me. I lay awake half the night just thinking about what I had seen. The first appearance of the giant, in the ninth episode. I’m not sure if Monthy Python could be called surrealism. They were an influence on the Sam Space stories I did, one of which is published in Pocket Full of Rain. There is something very appealing about surrealism. Some of my favorite writers are Hemingway, Bukowski, John Fante, Raymond Carver and Tobias Wolf — the whole dirty-realism genre, but if I do a story in that style, if I’m drawing something really ordinary, everyday stuff — people on a pavement, a couple in a kitchen — my mind almost automatically goes hmm… what would happen if I had a monster walking in here, or a dinosaur flying by there? What possibilities would that give me, at least visually? Surrealism might work better in a photorealistic medium, like film, it might lose some of its power in a story with cats and dogs walking around, dressed as humans, I don’t know.

— This is from an interview with Jason in The Comics Journal, I really like and identify with what he says about the influence of K-mart realism on his work.  that kind of realism is best established and then blown out into a bigger place.  It makes the realism more important when it stops attempting to be real on the page.  When the fiction becomes clear, but at the same time it is made easier to identify with.

...Tomorrow…

The future is a place of mystery…
All punctuation will be replaced by ellipses…
A guy said he would “see me later”
I said, “It was a deal”
He looked at me like he felt like he had been cheated
If I had cheated him he would of known
I would have cheated him of everything
But I don’t want a stupid bag of candy

I am going to post poems.  poems are the music of the page.  this is what i have done since my phsyche shattered this week.  i dont think i will ever make it again.

The Question Is: How Long Till We Go Crazy?

I will have been awake for 73 hours straight, since sunday, by the time he gets out of class at 4 pm.

this is out of a possible 83 hours that have passed since then.  (i slept for 3 hours on monday and i felt worse than i have ever felt trying to wake up and feel so much better now when contrasting feelings with then)

Everyone is now fired from the band in light of my loneliness and the artistic pressure this provides for me to burn both daylight AND night…light?

Handsome Furs
“I’m Confused”
Directed by Scott Coffey

Well, here you go: The best music video of 2009, nice and early. Conveniently, it also happens to accompany one of the best songs of the year to date.

Carly, Bryan, everyone in Francis look at this video, i think this is kind of the direction i want to go.  I want Cassidy to drop 30 pounds and I want Ari to have black shit oozing from her mouth and hair the whole time.  her hair should be bassically oil with hair in it.  the perversity of the sexual attraction comes from really liking getting dirty.  that is how it can be appealing to the audience on a sexual level.
